Find qualified trainees and connect with your community.

The S2B Program makes it possible for Microsoft partners to recruit the best final-year students or recent graduates as recommended by leading universities and provide them with the opportunity to work on innovative projects.

Partners should simply identify a project that could be done as an internship, determine the competencies needed for students to be successful and post offers on the S2B portal.

Internships offer a channel through which partners can communicate to local Universities the competencies required to innovate and operate a People Ready business. By sharing this information, Microsoft is able to work closely with the local Universities to offer specialised curriculum and training resources.

In South Africa, Microsoft Student to Business aims to encourage Microsoft Partners and Customers to share the obligation of accelerated growth within the South African IT sector by reducing the unemployment in youth communities within South Africa.

In terms of the specific ASGISA (Accelerated Shared Growth Initiative of South Africa) objectives, the Microsoft Extended Skills Academy is comprised of a number of special training programmes, to identify urgent skills needs with quick and effective implementation solutions. These special training programmes are implemented in conjunction with Microsoft Partners and Customers in South Africa.
